Eta. Traffic rules are being openly flouted in Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. The latest example of this came to light when a youth was seen speeding on a bike with six passengers. Passersby made a video of it and made it viral.
The viral video is said to be from near Hotel Maya Palace in Kotwali Nagar area. It can be seen in the video that six people are traveling on GT Road on a Hero Splendor motorcycle. The special thing is that a traffic police vehicle was driving behind the motorcycle and policemen were also present at the intersection ahead. As soon as the bikers reached the intersection, seeing the presence of the police, they started getting down from the moving bike in the middle of the road.
This entire incident happened right under the nose of the police but no one bothered to take action. Things like openly ignoring traffic rules and the role of police being questioned have their place. Traffic police do nothing except issuing and collecting challans, forget this but your life is yours, don’t be afraid of challans, no problem, but be afraid of Yamraj. You are directly inviting Yamraj to come and take us away if you have the courage.
