Tragedy in Kukatpally .. Three girls fall into quarry pit and die

The tragedy took place at Kookatpally in Hyderabad. Three girls were killed when they went to play near the quarry pit behind the KPHB Colony Fourth Phase RTI office. The NDRAP team and yard swimmers rushed to the scene to retrieve the bodies as the pit was filled with water. The NDRF team recovered the bodies of two of the three who fell in the quarry. Information that is still being cremated for someone else’s body.

According to the details received .. Sangeetha (12), Ramya (7) and Sofia (12) who are residing in KPHB Colony, Kookatpalli went to play at the quarry pit. It was during this sequence that the three slipped and fell into the pit. Those nearby noticed this and informed the police. The KPHB police who reached there in the background .. brought out the NDRF team and the yard swimmers as they were deep. Steps have been taken to retrieve the three girls. However, the bodies of two girls have been recovered. Another girl is being searched for her body. However, the full details of the incident are yet to be known.
