Oman: The Ministry of Health of Oman has issued a stern warning in the wake of the discovery of a new variant of Kovid in the country. The ministry has warned locals and foreigners not to leave Oman.
Overseas travel is allowed only if absolutely necessary. The number of Kovid patients is higher in the country. Precautions are now being taken to reduce mortality. As part of that, the ministry has asked people to avoid traveling abroad.

Kovid confirmed 868 people in Oman yesterday. The total number of patients is 1,39,362.
The total death toll was 1,552. Three people have died of covid in Oman yesterday. But the Kovid vaccine continues to be given in Oman. Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are now available. The Kovid vaccine has so far been given to 43,486 people in the country.
These are the figures released by the Ministry of Health on Friday. A total of 24,465 people received the second dose of the vaccine. About 90% of those who received the first dose received the Fesser vaccine.
