Desk. After the commencement of the 24 km stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Mithapur to Sector-65, the Kiranj toll rates of Palwal are going to increase by three times. The increased rates will come into effect from Tuesday night.
Let us tell you that earlier the drivers were using the expressway from Sector-65 of Faridabad, but now it has started from Mithapur in Delhi. Therefore the 24 kilometer expressway (Delhi Mumbai Expressway) has increased further. There is also a claim to start the section from Delhi’s DND flyover to Mithapur by March next year.
After this this expressway (Delhi Mumbai Expressway) will be completed. From here the journey straight to Dausa in Rajasthan via Sohna will be fast. Now, for a car passing through this toll, one will have to pay Rs 150, whereas earlier it used to be Rs 50. Monthly passes for cars which were made for Rs 1650 till now, will now be made for Rs 5030.
It is noteworthy that last year, a 26 km stretch of the expressway from Sector-65 to Nuh was opened for vehicular movement by NHAI. Toll rates were increased at Kiranj toll plaza seven months ago in April. In this regard, NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that now more people will be able to use the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. Its length has also increased. Therefore the rates have been revised. Now drivers will have to pay more toll. The rates will be applicable from Tuesday night.
