Habania: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, a dentist, successfully operated on a ten-year-old boy to remove a cyst from his mouth.
Manik Saha worked at the Tripura Medical College in Habania before taking charge as the Chief Minister of Tripura. He quit his medical job after taking over as Chief Minister last 7 months. In this case, Chief Minister Manik Saha successfully performed an operation to remove water clot inside the mouth of Akshit Ghosh, the 10-year-old son of Sukanda Ghosh.
For this, he visited Tripura Medical College at 9 am today (Wednesday) and went to the operating theater and underwent the operation. After completing the surgery successfully in half an hour, he came out smiling. Manik Saha while talking to the media said, “The boy is now fine after the surgery. I had surgery after a long gap. However, it was not difficult,” he said.
Manik Saha was assisted during this operation by Drs Amit Lal Goswami, Pooja Debnath and Rudra Prasad Chakraborty who are dental and facial surgeons.
