Truck crashes into mosque in Saudi Arabia; Five people who came to pray were injured

Saudi Arabia: A lorry rammed into a mosque in Saudi Arabia, injuring five worshipers. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque near the city of Jeddah. The injured were rushed to hospital. The wall of the church is partially broken.

The rescue operation was led by the Civil Defense at the church. Saudi Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh said that the health condition of the injured was being treated at the hospital. The Minister of Religious Affairs has directed to ensure the safety of the building and to reopen the church and study about it.

At the same time, the number of Kovid victims in Saudi Arabia is increasing. Kovid confirmed 602 cases yesterday. So far 5,53,921 Kovid cases have been reported in the country. One death was reported yesterday due to Kovid. The total death toll was 8,873. There are currently 3,891 people in treatment across the country. 39 people are in critical condition. The health of the rest is satisfactory. Riyadh has the highest number of Kovid patients. In Riyadh alone, 179 people were infected.
