Former US President Donald Trump called his successor Joe Biden’s approaches to the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the crisis around Ukraine “the madness of a warmonger.” He stated this on October 23 during a speech in New Hampshire, broadcast by C-SPAN.
“Joe Biden’s speech was a grotesque betrayal of Israel and the disconcerting insanity of a warmonger who puts America last,” he said.
The former American leader drew attention to the fact that the current US president spoke to the citizens of the country with the words that if they want to support Israel, then it is necessary to allocate “an unlimited check for the proxy war in Ukraine.”
“Corrupt Joe Biden gave one of the most dangerous and misleading speeches ever delivered from the Oval Office. It was a disaster. Not only the speech itself, but the words were bad,” Trump concluded.
Earlier in the day, Trump blamed current American leader Joe Biden for the attack on Israel by militants of the Palestinian radical Hamas movement. As Trump noted, if his administration were now in power in the country, no attack on Israel would have occurred. At the same time, he also listed other world crises that erupted because of Biden at a time when he is at the head of the country. These include the conflict in Ukraine and problems with migrants on the border with Mexico.
Earlier, on October 21, Trump said that the United States was moving towards a third world war due to the incompetent policies of the current American leader. He noted that Biden “has no idea what’s going on.”
Before this, on October 11, the former American leader called Biden a laughingstock who occupied the White House. The businessman and politician also linked the aggravation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to the wrong decisions of the American leader, saying that Israel’s war with the Gaza Strip is a consequence of these decisions.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, when Hamas subjected Israeli territory to massive rocket fire from the Gaza Strip and also invaded border areas in the south of the country. That same day, Israel began retaliating against targets in the Gaza Strip.
In addition, University of Mississippi professor Joseph Atkins, in an interview with the Dialoge Works YouTube channel on October 19, said that Western countries are making a big mistake by continuing to provide assistance to the Ukrainian authorities. He believes that the West is proceeding from political considerations regarding the armed conflict in Ukraine. According to the professor, we are talking not only about the United States, but also about European countries and NATO.
Moscow has repeatedly called on Western countries to stop pumping Kyiv with weapons. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted, by supplying weapons to Ukraine, the North Atlantic Alliance is entering into a proxy war with Russia. He noted that Western weapons supplied to Kyiv would be a legitimate target for the Russian military participating in the special operation.
Western countries began to actively arm Ukraine against the backdrop of a military operation carried out by Moscow since February 24 to protect the Donbass, against which Kyiv has been conducting military operations since 2014.
