Telangana RTC has a unique identity in the country said Sajjanar, MD of the organization. He said that the company having the largest network with 10 thousand buses, 47,528 thousand employees, 99 depots and 364 bus stations runs 32 lakh kilometers of buses every day and transports about 45 lakh passengers to their destinations. He said that TS RTC has reached more people with various services such as cargo, petrol stations, Jiva brand water bottles and more.
Sajjanar said that implementing ERP to manage operations in an organization providing transport services to 9,377 villages was a challenging task. That’s why he thought to implement Oracle ERP project. It was revealed that the ERP will integrate the finance, HR, engineering and other departments of the head office along with depots and zones in the state. He expressed hope that Nalsapt will be the implementation partner and this efficient system will contribute to the development of TSRTC.
He reminded that Telangana RTC is at the forefront in introducing the latest technology and we are reaching the passengers fast through technology. Online passenger reservation system (OPRS), issuance of bus passes, logistic and parcel services, bus tracking, UPI payments based on QR code, online booking counters, booking of rental buses for the convenience of people, travel ticket and quick visit to Tirupati Devasthanam are provided online.
Sajjanar said that they have recently launched a bus tracking app to know the exact location of buses, a commercial app to manage company revenue, employee apps to track employee attendance, grant leave and receive complaints. It has been clarified that Nalsoft Company will be the implementation partner of the project. He said that Nulsapt has been an Oracle partner for more than 20 years and the company has experience in providing application solutions and fast services.
