TSRTC Good News For APA Residents.. Sleeper Buses For The First Time On Those Routes..

TSRTC is making non-AC sleeper buses available for the first time in Telangana for the convenience of passengers going to and from AP. These buses are made available to passengers from Wednesday, which have been designed with state-of-the-art features as opposed to private buses. The management of RTC will run these buses on a rental basis on Hyderabad-Kakinada and Hyderabad-Vijayawada routes. First, TSRTC is going to start 4 sleeper and another 6 sleeper cum seater buses. Chairman of the company Bajireddy Govardhan and MD VC Sajjanar will flag off the new buses in a program near the KPHB Colony bus stop in Hyderabad on Wednesday at 4 pm.

The bus is special!

Sleeper buses will have 15 lower berths and 15 upper berths. Each berth has water bottle facility and mobile charging facility. The seater cum sleeper buses have a capacity of 15 upper berths and 33 seats in the lower level. Every bus has air suspension facility. Wi-Fi facility has also been provided in every bus for the convenience of passengers. A bottle of water and a freshener are provided free of cost to those traveling in these buses. Attendants also assist in loading and unloading their luggage.

There are LED boards at the front and back of the bus. The details of the destinations are available in Telugu and English language. Three CCTV cameras have been installed in each bus for the safety of passengers. These cameras are located in front road view, passenger boarding area and inside the bus. There will be another camera to allow the bus to reverse. Moreover, the buses have fire extinguishers to prevent fire accidents. Wide berths have been arranged for the comfort of the passengers.

Bus timings..

Buses going towards Kakinada depart from Hyderabad BHEL. Runs every night at 07.45 and 8.30. Return from Kakinada to Hyderabad at 07.15 and 07.45 hrs. Vijayawada bound buses depart from Miyapur at 9.30 AM, 10.45 AM, 11.45 AM, 9.30 PM, 10.15 AM, 11.15 AM and 9.30 PM, 10.15 AM, 11.15 AM every day. Return to Hyderabad from Vijayawada will start at 10.15 am, 11.15 am, 12.15 pm and midnight at 12.00 pm, 12.45 pm.
