Tunisha: Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case.. Love Jihad Allegations Rejected By Shijan's Mother

Recently, TV actress Tunisha Sharma committed suicide on the shooting sets. Rumors were heard that she got depressed and committed suicide due to a breakup with her boyfriend Sheezan Khan. In the same sequence, the police arrested her ex-boyfriend Sheejan Khan as the family members expressed suspicion regarding her death. In the same sequence, Tunisha’s mother made many accusations against the Sheejan family. She answered all of them in a press conference on Monday. Sheejan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra, sisters Falak Naz, Shafaq Naz and his mother Tunisha shared the details of the past with the media on this occasion.

Sheejan’s family has alleged that Tunisha’s family misbehaved with her. They also refuted claims made by her mother Vanita Sharma that Sheejan had a ‘secret girlfriend’ and forced Tunisha to wear hijab. On this occasion, Sheejan’s lawyer Mishra said that Tunisha and Sanjeev Kaushal (Uncle from Chandigarh) had terrible relations. Sanjeev Kaushal revealed that Tunisha’s finances were controlled by mother Vanitha. Tunisha said that she always beat her mother even for her own money.

Mishra said on this occasion that Tunisha used to get very nervous when she heard the name of Sanjeev Kaushal. He also alleged that it was on his instigation that Tunisha’s mother broke her phone and tried to strangle her. The lawyer claimed that the cause of Tunisha’s death was the anxiety and depression he was experiencing since earlier.

Sheejan’s sister Shafaq Naz, referring to Vanitha’s allegations, clarified that the photo of Tunisha wearing hijab was actually from the show and not a real life picture. She said that they never asked her to wear hijab. Another sister, Falak Naz, said that Sheejan did not have any other girlfriends. Moreover, Tunisha’s mother also admitted that she was neglecting her daughter and not taking care of her. Tunisha attributes her depression to childhood trauma.

20-year-old Tunisha was found dead on the sets of her TV show ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’ on December 24. The court on Saturday sent 14 days judicial custody to her costar and ex-boyfriend Sheejan, who is facing charges in the case.
