Suppliers from many countries of the world attended the three-day fair, which brought together representatives of governments, armed forces and industry at the ExCeL Fair Center in London, the capital of England.
The latest solutions and systems for the defense and aerospace industry were exhibited at DSEI 2023, one of the world’s largest international defense and security technology fairs, which was held for the 22nd time this year.
At the event organized this year with the theme of “achieving integrated power”, the suitability of integration between operational areas consisting of air, land, sea, cyber and electromagnetic activities and space was pointed out.
Turkish defense industry companies also participated in the fair, which is held every two years, under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries and with the support of the Defense and Aerospace Industry Exporters’ Association.
At the fair, approximately 30 Turkish companies, including ASELSAN, BMC, CES Kompozit, HAVELSAN, Kale Arge, MKE AŞ, Nurol Makina, REPKON, Roketsan, CANiK, Sarsılmaz, TAIS, exhibited their products and capabilities.

Turkey’s Ambassador to London Osman Koray Ertaş attended the fair and visited the stands of Turkish defense industry companies.
In his statement at the fair, Ertaş stated that DSEI, which is held every two years, is one of the most important defense industry fairs in the world, and that approximately 30 companies, especially ASELSAN and HAVELSAN, participated in the fair from Turkey, which has become a very important actor in the field of defense.
Stating that they want to be together with companies as an embassy, Ertaş said, “In this way, both we and they add strength to us.” he said.
Ertaş underlined that Turkey’s relations with England are strong in the field of defense industry and said, “Negotiations continue on both large platforms and large and small projects. We hope these negotiations will result positively and we will continue to strengthen our country’s exports and strength in the defense industry.” he said.
