In the Sysolsky district, truckers from Turkey were rescued from freezing on the highway. Five trucks stopped near the village of Vizinga. The signal for help was received by the duty officer on Saturday, November 26.
The head of the civil defense sector of the district administration, Dmitry Kiyashchenko, told Komiinform news agency that drivers passing by a convoy of trucks turned to the unified dispatch service.
When he arrived at the scene, it turned out that one car had a broken generator. It was replaced with a new one, but because of the frost they could not assemble it. At that time, the temperature dropped below -20 degrees.
Kiyashchenko asked a local entrepreneur to bring two new batteries. While the broken truck was being repaired, three more vehicles froze. Representatives of the district administration brought tea to the drivers. After lunch, the trucks were warmed up and sent further along the highway.
The agency recalls that a similar incident occurred in Komi in mid-November. Drivers, citizens of Turkey, stood for two days at a gas station in the Tyla-yu area, as the truck broke down. motorists passing by called the emergency services.
