Advisor to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Yalcin Topca, conveyed the greetings of the leadership of his country, the Turkish president and the citizens of his country, expressing his satisfaction for attending tonight’s event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We are present in culture, medicine, history and we are present in investments and trade,” Topac said, reminding that all this implies keeping the word given, the bequest of the late Alija Izetbegović, the first president of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He remembered all the martyrs who died in the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war and the genocide that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He welcomed, as he said, the brotherly relationship between the businessmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey, stressing the importance of mutual support in the field of economic cooperation.
Turkey’s ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sadik Babur Girgin, said that his country’s free trade agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina was extended in 2021, which provided unique opportunities to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have not been offered to any country in the world.
“And that is an indicator of how Turkey views Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Ambassador Girgin, pointing out the importance of mutual support with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation.
He recalled the target volume of trade exchange of one billion dollars, which was achieved, as he said, thanks to the businessmen of the two countries.
Ambassador Girgin told Turkish businessmen that the atmosphere for investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina is positive, saying that “we must be united”.
All the happenings around us show the importance of our unity and the brotherhood of our countries, said Ambassador Girgin and wished the success of the last investment of the “Uvak” group.
