Twin brothers.. 900 km. Both died in the same way at a distance

Both the brothers (Rajasthan Twins) were born together at birth. For 26 years they left one and lived without the other. Now 900 km from each other in strange conditions. In the distance, both died almost identically. No one was left for the parents. The festival (like Sankranti celebrated by Uttarayan in Rajasthan) was filled with deep sadness. Like a strange play of fate, this incident took place in Barmer, Rajasthan. One of the twins died after accidentally falling from the terrace of a house in Surat. His twin brother died within hours.

Sumer and Sohan Singh, who were born simultaneously to the same mother less than two-and-a-half decades ago, were cremated on the same pyre in their hometown Sarno Katala. His last rites were completed on Thursday (January 12) amidst the wailing of family members and relatives.

Sumer works in a textile company in Surat, Gujarat. Sohan is preparing for Grade II Teacher Recruitment Exam in Jaipur. Sohan was a good student since childhood. Sumer was behind in studies. But, he encouraged Sohan a lot. So, Sumer is working hard in Surat for Sohan to fulfill his dream of becoming a teacher. He is sending the hard-earned money for his brother’s teacher recruitment training, books and other expenses.

Sumer died after falling from the terrace of his house in Surat on Wednesday night. Locals said that he was talking on the phone at that time. Sohan hears the news of his twin brother’s death and returns home. By then arrangements are being made to bring Sumer’s dead body to his native place. All relatives are coming. Sohan went to fetch water from a pond 100 meters away from his house. Didn’t come back.

When Sohan did not return, the worried family members finally found him in the pond. He was immediately taken to the hospital. The doctors confirmed that he had already died. At first they suspected that Sohan had committed suicide after hearing the news of Sumer’s death. However, the police concluded that it was an accident. The tragic death of two much-loved siblings within hours of each other in the same manner filled the village.
