Bengaluru: A 77-year-old man was beaten to death in a road dispute in Bengaluru by his son, whose CCTV video has proved it. The police have arrested a 35-year-old man who assaulted the old man.
Krishnappa (77) hails from Guttahalli in Bengaluru. He went to the pharmacy to buy pills on the 15th around 9 pm. He suffered a head injury in the fall and was admitted to the hospital. The next day, Krishnappa died without treatment. Subsequently, the Vyalikaval police registered a case that the victim was killed in an accident due to driving without wearing a helmet.
In this case, his son Satishkumar became suspicious of his father’s death. As a result, he examined the CCTV camera records in the area where the accident occurred on the 17th. In it, while Krishnappa was on the road on the accident, he collided with the oncoming vehicle. It is reported that the driver hit Krishnappa with a stone during the argument and then drove away.
Subsequently, Satishkumar died at Vyalikaval police station after his father Krishnappa was hit by a motorist. He insisted that this should be registered as a case of murder. He also handed over the CCTV camera video recorded at the spot.
Subsequently, when the police re-investigated the case, it was confirmed that Sarfaras Khan (37) attacked Krishnappa. After this incident, after going some distance, Krishnappa stumbles. Then some people rescued him and admitted him to the hospital. It was found that Krishnappa had died there without treatment.
Subsequently, the police have converted the case registered as an accident into a case of murder and arrested Sarfaras Khan. Krishnappa’s son Satishkumar has also been praised for collecting enough evidence for the police in this case.
