Battini, who hails from Manajipet of Killaganapuram mandal in Vanaparthi district, dropped out of a college in Srisailam Hyderabad in the middle of his studies and set up a chicken farm in his native village. In 2017, while studying for his degree, he met a young lady (20) from Katedan, Hyderabad, who was a junior in college. He used to follow her as if he loved her from the age of three. She told this to her family members a year and a half ago and they warned him. However, despite Srisailam chasing and harassing her, the young woman kept refusing. She blocked the phone number as she was tired of making calls.
But Srisailam recently tried to reconnect with her through Snapchat. He messaged her to talk to you and asked her to come to Bhutpur in Mahbubnagar district on 5th of this month. Believing his words, the young lady went to Bhutpur, picked up a bike and took her to his chicken farm in Manajipet. He pressured her to marry him there. This led to an argument between them. The young lady warned her not to ruin her future by saying that she is going abroad for high school. Srisailam lost his discretion and attacked her and raped her. After that, he killed her by tying her neck with chunni. In order to prevent the matter from getting out, he buried the body near the KLI canal with the help of relative Shiva.
On the other hand, on the morning of the fifth of this month, the worried parents inquired at the houses of friends and relatives as their daughter, who went to college in the morning, did not come home even after evening. However, with no result, Mailardevpally filed a police complaint at 10 pm. They expressed suspicion that Srisailam molested their daughter many times. After this the police detained him and interrogated him and he confessed that he had raped and killed him. The police arrested the accused Srisailam along with his accomplice Siva. But is there any role of others in this case? The police are investigating in that sense.
