San Francisco. Twitter CEO Elon Musk said on Monday that the Twitter team accomplished many tasks overnight. This includes improving the reach of retweets and weeding out negative tweets. The team completed more work overnight, Musk tweeted.
Removed the height penalty affecting tweets containing photos/videos, increased the number of recommended tweets, improved tracking of downvoted tweets, removed the filter that caused false negatives if the user was the author Follows penalty removed, retweet reach improved.
Musk said on Sunday that engineers worked with him at Twitter headquarters to solve two critical problems on the micro-blogging platform.
He said that when I tweeted, the ‘fanout service for following feed’ was overloading, resulting in up to 95 percent of my tweets not being delivered.
In addition they noted that the recommendation algorithm was using absolute block count instead of percentile block count, dumping accounts with many followers even though the block was only 0.1 percent of followers.
Musk also said that the oversized font and undersized paragraph spacing would be fixed this week.(IANS)
