San Francisco. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed that after the acquisition of the micro-blogging site is complete, Twitter will focus on hardcore software engineering, design and more.
The Tesla CEO also mentioned that he firmly believes that all managers in the tech sector should ‘be technically excellent’.
“If the Twitter acquisition is completed, the company will focus on hardcore software engineering, design, infosec and server hardware,” Musk tweeted late Friday.
He said, “I firmly believe that all managers in the technical field must be technically excellent. Managers in software must build great software or it is like being a cavalry captain who cannot ride a horse!”
He tagged a Fortune article with one of his tweets, which said that ‘job interest in Twitter has increased by more than 250 percent since Musk took office’.
Meanwhile, CNBC’s David Faber, who first reported Jack Dorsey stepping down as Twitter CEO, has now claimed that Musk will be the temporary CEO of the company for a few months.
According to the report, Musk has detailed plans for Twitter’s $44 billion acquisition deal in presentations to potential funders.
Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal has been heading the micro-blogging platform since November after taking over from Dorsey.
