The aircraft is owned by Sky Prime Aviation
CNN has found that Sky Prime Aviation’s jets were used to assassinate Khashoggi. According to the report, these were under the direct control of the Saudi Crown Prince. The report was signed by one of the Saudi ministers on behalf of the Crown Prince and presented in a Canadian court. The document states that the crown prince transferred ownership of the private company Sky Prime Aviation in 2017 to the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, also known as the Public Investment Fund. The Sovereign Wealth Fund is controlled by the Crown Prince. According to the report, the Crown Prince was in control of the aircraft at the time of Khashoggi’s assassination.
The crown prince will not be unaware
CNN reported, citing former director of the CIA Middle East Division, Dan Hoffman, that the two planes controlled by the Sovereign Wealth Fund would not have been used in the assassination without the Crown ” knowledge. This is clear evidence that the murder was committed with his knowledge. He added that this would help strengthen the evidence of Muhammad bin Salman’s involvement. Faisal Gill, a representative of Khashoggi’s ex-fiancധുe, said the documents submitted by the Saudis in a Canadian court were further evidence of the Crown’s involvement in the case.
The Saudis initially denied the murder
In October 2018, a journalist was killed by Saudi agents at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. The incident took place while visiting the consulate to get a document related to the marriage. He entered the consulate and went missing. The Saudi Crown Prince ‘s initial position was that they knew nothing about him. However, the Saudis later confirmed that he had been killed inside the consulate. Saudi Arabia has taken legal action against eight people in connection with the investigation. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MBS, explained that he had no involvement in the incident and that he was solely responsible for the incident as a Saudi ruler.
