Yesterday, the Emirates Water Ski Championship, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, concluded yesterday on the breakwater in the capital, Abu Dhabi. It witnessed exciting competitions that brought together an elite group of local and international athletes, who excelled in presenting exceptional performances in various categories, amid a remarkable audience presence. An enthusiastic atmosphere was created by their interaction with the creativity of 86 contestants from 23 countries.
The competitions witnessed the Emirati champion, Sultan Saif Al Nuaimi, winning the title of the men’s intermediate category – Wakeboard, and his colleague Ali Al Mazrouei won the title of the men’s novice category.
For his part, Acting Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Nasser Al Dhaheri, said: “The championship has become a distinguished platform for local and international athletes to show their talents in this distinguished sport, and we are proud of the wonderful organization.”
