It was instructed that the flag should be hoisted at 10 am in all the ministries, government departments and institutions of the country. Schools, government institutions, individuals and business establishments all hoisted the flag as per Sheikh Mohammad’s instructions. The National Anthem was also played during the hoisting of the flag.
The colors of the UAE flag are red, green, white and black. Specific guidelines are given for the use of the flag. The flag should be rectangular in shape. Colors should be in correct order at half height of width. Inspection should be done every 45 days in places where flags are kept permanently. The flag should be checked for any problems.
