UAE participates in annual skiing congress and international championship at Ski Dubai

The UAE Winter Sports Federation delegation is participating in the International Ski Congress held annually in the Swiss city of Zurich as part of the annual session of the member states of the International Ski Federation (FIS) to discuss developments and proposals related to international championships, laws and regulations for the upcoming winter season 2025.
The UAE delegation was headed by Ibrahim Ali Khadem, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, and members of the Skiing Committee, Mohammed Hussein Khadem and Mohammed Al-Abdouli.
It is noteworthy that the majority of member states renewed their approval for the UAE to host the International Ski Championship next season at Ski Dubai, which confirms the confidence of member states in the available capabilities and high readiness of the UAE to host various sporting events.
