The new insurance plans introduced by Daman will cover multi-entry travelers traveling between Qatar and the UAE more than once. Multi-trip World Cup travel insurance plans are available for 14 days and 40 days. Plans are available with and without a comprehensive Covid-19 insurance coverage option. A 14-day insurance policy without Covid-19 coverage costs just Dh20.

The World Cup travel insurance plan policies are only available for people visiting the UAE, officials said. Apart from travelers traveling to Qatar via UAE from foreign countries, Daman has also introduced insurance products for UAE nationals, expatriates and their family members traveling to Qatar for the World Cup. These insurance plans are very beneficial for football fans living in the UAE as part of the World Cup in Qatar.
Officials are expecting hundreds of thousands of people to travel to GCC countries in the coming days to enjoy football matches in Qatar. Stuart Leatherby, Chief Commercial Business Officer at the UAE’s National Health Insurance Company, said Daman’s policies will help football fans who make multiple trips between the UAE and Qatar to travel with peace of mind.
