Lucknow: A shocking incident has taken place in Uttar Pradesh where bystanders filmed a girl with severe injuries all over her body and begged for help without helping her.
A 13-year-old girl, who was reported missing from her home in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanoj district on Sunday, was found lying near a government guest house there with multiple injuries on her body, including her head.
A video of this shocking incident has surfaced on social media. In the 25-second video, the girl stretches out her bloodied hands and asks for help from the crowd around her. But the men standing around the girl are intent on taking pictures of the girl on their cell phones without making any effort to help her.
In the meantime, has the police been informed? Some are asking what is the number of the top police officer. However, they did not come forward to help the girl and they are only interested in taking pictures of her.
No one helped the girl until the police reached the spot. In a second video of the incident, a policeman carries the girl in his arms and runs towards the auto.
Regarding the incident, District Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam Singh said, “The local police admitted a girl who was found with serious injuries to the hospital for treatment. The girl went out to buy money on Sunday and did not return home. In this situation, the guard of the guest house saw a girl throbbing in pain near the government guest house and immediately informed the police.
The girl was accompanied by a youth, according to the guest house surveillance camera. The youth is being investigated. “It is not known whether the girl was subjected to sexual harassment. It will be confirmed only after the report of the doctors.” The girl has been sent to Kanpur hospital for further treatment.
