Umran Malik has been accelerating his bowling from match to match in the current IPL season. The 22-year-old from Jammu and Kashmir is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He had lightly revealed his pace last season. As a result he was retained on that team. He has won the award for the fastest bowler in every match he plays this season.
Umran was bowling at 157 kmph as he tore through the air in the 50th league match of the current season against Delhi. This is the fastest delivery a bowler has made in the current season. He throws the ball at an average speed of 150+ kilometers per hour. It is noteworthy that many pacers like Akhtar, Stein and Joffre Archer have played on the IPL field.
