UP to enroll disabled people in school Prime Minister Modi praises the teacher

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the Uttar Pradesh teacher for finding alternatively abled students and enrolling them in schools.

In this regard the teacher Deepmala Pandey (38) Says:

In 2018, I enrolled Anmol, a deaf student in our school. That student’s academic interest amazed me. I have always been selflessly serving for the education of alternatively abled children.

For the last 4 years I have been finding alternative talented students and enrolling them in schools. More than 350 teachers from across the state have joined me in looking at my service. So far we have enrolled more than 600 disabled children in schools.

We named our movement ‘One Teacher, One Call’ during the Corona Curfew. The teachers who work with me meet once a month to discuss educational programs for alternatively abled children. We run online classes for them. We run seminars and special events.

It is gratifying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised me and the teachers who have joined me. I owe him a debt of gratitude.
