Prayagraj. The student agitation that started on Monday demanding conducting of PCS and RO/ARO preliminary exams in one day-one shift finally ended last night. With the police picking up about 10 students who were protesting in front of the Commission (UPPSC), the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), which was under the control of protesting students for 106 hours, also became free.
Although the anger of the competitive students had reduced after the Commission (UPPSC) decided to hold the PCS preliminary exam in one day at 4 pm on Thursday evening as before, but the RO/ARO exam also The movement was going on demanding its completion in one day, but it ended completely on Friday night.
The future of the movement was decided with the announcement of conducting PCS Preliminary Examination-2024 in one day and postponing of RO/ARO. Disappointed with the lack of concrete decision on the demand of conducting RO/ARO exam, the contestants were protesting outside the Commission (UPPSC). The number of contestants started decreasing since the morning and as soon as the Commission announced to conduct PCS-Pre in two sessions on 22nd December, the remaining crowd of contestant students also left the protest site.

A few agitators had raised their voice for one-day RO/ARO exam in the evening, but at 8.30 in the night the police removed the remaining students. With this the performance ended. The contestants had captured all the six gates of the Commission (UPPSC). Even the employees, hiding from the students, would climb over the wall and if the students caught sight of them, sloganeering would start. Gate number two was occupied by students. Police were deployed by barricading other gates.
