Prayagraj. Combined State-Advanced Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination is being organized today by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The examination is being conducted in two shifts. Regarding this, 1331 examination centers have been created in all 75 districts of the state. Sector Magistrate has been appointed to monitor the examination centers set up at the district level.
The first shift examination has started at 9:30 am. Whereas the second shift examination will start from 2:30 pm. Both the shifts of UPPSC PCS Pre Exam will be of two hours each. There will be General Studies papers in the first shift and CSAT papers in the second shift. To prevent paper leaks of these examinations, concrete arrangements have been made by the government, administration and UPPSC.
Till now, no case of irregularities in the examination has come to light during the first shift examination. UPPSC PCS Pre Exam is being conducted for 220 posts. A total of 5,76,154 candidates had applied for this. This is the biggest examination by the Commission after the issue of paper leak in RO-ARO examination. During this examination, various arrangements have been made for the security of the question paper.
UPPSC is keeping an eye on the examination. Candidates were given admission at the examination centers after strict scrutiny. Security forces have been deployed on a large scale. Commission officials are also arriving to take stock of the examination. Till now no wrong information regarding the examination has come to light from any district.
