Be careful. The second phase of survey was started this morning itself after the claim of Harihar temple being located in the city’s royal Jama Masjid was presented. As soon as people came to know about it, the crowd started reaching towards the Masjid (Jama Masjid) at around 9:00 in the morning. When an attempt was made to disperse the crowd, first there was a scuffle and later the crowd started pelting stones.
The police tried to disperse the crowd by firing in the air. It is being told that firing has been done from the other side also. The situation remains very tense. After the Jama Masjid and Harihar Temple incident, peace and security arrangements were increased in the city. In the same case, Advocate Commissioner Ramesh Raghav along with Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain of the plaintiff side and many people of the defendant side were present on Tuesday.
Police forces from around eight districts of Moradabad and Bareilly division were deployed during Friday prayers at Jama Masjid. At that time, for security reasons, PAC soldiers were deployed on all the roads leading to Jama Masjid by barricading them with bamboo poles, so that the crowd of people could not go in that direction.
Suddenly on Sunday morning, Advocate Commissioner Ramesh Raghav reached Jama Masjid with his team; Where DM Dr. Rajendra Pansia, SP Krishna Kumar Vishnoi along with a large number of police forces and other officers were present with him. During this period, heavy PAC and RRF personnel were deployed on the barricades. Which were stopping all the people going in that direction. There was panic among the people of the city when the officials suddenly reached Jama Masjid and there was a huge police force.
