New Delhi. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju today claimed in Parliament that the alleged affair between Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and Hungarian-American businessman George Soros is a matter of “serious” concern. Kiren Rijiju said such matters should not be viewed through a “political lens” and urged a united front against “anti-India forces”.
BJP has alleged that former Congress President Sonia Gandhi is associated with an organization which has been supporting the idea of an independent nation for Kashmir. BJP said on social media platform X that this organization receives funding from George Soros Foundation. The name of this organization is FDL-AP. This relationship reflects the influence of foreign entities in the internal affairs of India.
Meanwhile, amid America’s rejection of BJP’s allegations of attempts to destabilize India, party MP Nishikant Dubey said that he will ask 10 questions to Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi today on this issue. The BJP said the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, headed by Sonia Gandhi, partnered with the George Soros Foundation, which shows the impact of foreign funding on Indian organizations.
BJP said, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s press conference on Adani was telecast live from George Soros funded OCCRP. On the other hand, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has publicly described George Soros as his ‘old friend’. Headquartered in Amsterdam, OCCRP is a media platform primarily based on stories related to crime and corruption.
