The user responded to the comment showing her annoyance: “But it doesn’t say that on your page and when I coordinated with you they didn’t mention that to me either. I really thought it was a Peruvian product. If they had told me about it, I wouldn’t buy it. “I feel cheated.” This statement intensified the debate about transparency in products sold under the name of Luciana Fuster, one of the most recognized influencers in Peru.
Magaly Medina’s recent report has sparked controversy by revealing that Luciana Fuster would be selling Shein brand products in her clothing store located in Gamarra. According to what was stated in her program, the host indicated that several garments offered in the influencer’s business would belong to this renowned international brand, generating an intense debate on social networks. The controversy began on Monday, December 16, when a TikTok user shared her experience showing a garment purchased in the Fuster store with the Shein label, which provoked the indignation of numerous consumers.
“Don’t lie to people. Tell them that you have a store, that it is a business and that suddenly when he was in Thailand, he discovered that bringing those Shein clothes there were very cheap and here he is earning more than 50 and 60%, which is a great business for many of these people,” said Magaly Medina.
Does Luciana Fuster sell AliExpress accessories and clothing?
In the last broadcast of ‘America Today’, a report was presented that revealed some of these discoveries. In the video, it was shown how the bags in Luciana Fuster’s store matched products from AliExpress, adding to previous allegations that her clothing and accessories came from websites such as Shein and Temu.
“And this hoop wallet, in silver, pearl, green and black, at 90 soles. And on AliExpress, a very similar model, at 47.70 soles. And let’s go with one more: this night out wallet, in fuchsia and gold colors, at 90 soles. And this one we found, almost at the same price, from AliExpress at 88 soles,” they commented in the report.
Luciana Fuster’s store covered the name of the model of her Gamarra business
To investigate the recent accusations, a team from the program led by Magaly Medina went to Luciana Fuster’s stand in Gamarra. During the visit, they noticed that the name of the store had been covered with black bags, a detail that caught their attention, since previously the model’s name stood out visibly in the business.
According to the report, this apparent attempt to dissociate could be related to the criticism received after complaints about the origin of the marketed products. However, so far, Luciana Fuster has not offered any public statement on the subject.
