New Delhi: The government has said that the surplus corona vaccine is being exported to meet the needs of the Indian people.
During Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said: As on the 15th, India has exported corona vaccine to 72 countries. This cannot be said to be the need of the Indian people. This is because only the surplus vaccine has been exported to the Indian people.
Vaccines are exported according to the federal government’s ideology of ‘the world is one family’. The benefits of science must reach the people of the world. Even if the technology is domestic, the international community should benefit from it. The federal government team and experts are actively monitoring the availability of the vaccine, both domestically and abroad. On the 15th, 30.39 lakh people were vaccinated, he said.
