Ever since the death of her husband Jayaram in 2018, Vani Jayaram has been living alone in her house on Hadows Road in Chennai. A maid named Malarkodi works for her. Every day Vani goes to Jayaram’s house and takes care of all the work. In this order, at 11 am on Saturday morning, Vani went to Jayaram’s house and rang the calling bell of Malarkodi. No matter how many times the calling bell was rung, there was no response from Vani Jayaram. She immediately told this to Vani Jayaram’s sister Uma.
Uma and Malarkodi opened the door with a duplicate key and went inside. Vani gets worried seeing Jayaram lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom. After that, the forensic team of Tamil Nadu Police went to Vani Jayaram’s house and conducted an inspection.
Triplicane DCP Shekhar Deshmukh said that a case has been registered considering Vani Jayaram’s death as suspicious. It has been revealed that the case is currently being investigated and the cause of Vani Jayaram’s death will be known after the postmortem report.
