Legendary singer Vani Jayaram, who sang thousands of songs in different languages and remained forever in the hearts of music lovers, died on the 4th of this month. Vani Jayaram, who died at her home in Chennai, had injuries on her face, raising many suspicions. The Tamil Nadu police have registered an FIR as a suspicious death. But with the latest postmortem report, the mystery of her death is over. After examining the CCTV footage of the late singer’s house, the police came to the conclusion that the death was accidental. It was concluded that she had suffered a severe head injury after falling on the glass table in the bedroom and died without receiving treatment as there was no one at home.

After examining the CCTV footage of the apartment where Vani Jayaram is staying, the police revealed that they did not find any suspicious movement. He said that there were no signs of forced entry into the house. She was home alone at the time of her death. The door is locked from the inside. On Saturday, Vani Jayaram’s body was cremated with state honors.

Since the death of her husband Jayaram four years ago, Vani Jayaram has been living alone in her house in Hadows Road, Chennai. Only one maid goes to her house and takes care of all the chores. As usual, the maid went to Vani Jayaram’s house at 11 am on Saturday, but after ringing the calling bell several times, there was no response, so she immediately informed Vani Jayaram’s sister Uma. After that, the door was opened with the duplicate key and the wound was found on the forehead of the already dead woman. The police registered a case of suspicious death under Section 174 (unnatural death) and started investigation.
