However, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad today as part of the film’s promotion. Varun Tej spoke in this event and answered the criticism coming against him. ‘Every time I try a variety movie, everyone comes and says why is this? Is it necessary? It is said that commercial films can be made, mass films can be made. Everyone has a belief. There is a belief in why we are into films, otherwise why we are doing a thing. I entered the industry with the hope and belief that new stories should be made, good films should be given and the audience should always be entertained. No matter who or what the films are.. if the film is not good, I will try again to make it good.. But, my effort and my difficulty will never change. I will always try to give good films. I will do better if I have your (fans) support,’ said Varun Tej.
Varun Tej said that an actor gets a chance to do various films in his career, but rarely does he get a chance to act in a film with a good social message. He revealed that he got such an opportunity with the movie ‘Gandivadhari Arjuna’. When Praveen Sattaru narrated the story to me, the core emotion of the film is what made me do it, leaving aside the action scenes that were done at high cost and the falling and breaking of the leg. We all are very busy in our lives with our friends, our family, our girlfriends and our boyfriends. But I think we should have a little idea about society as well. I feel very lucky that I got the opportunity to bring such a big problem to you as a small awareness through a film like this,’ said Varun Tej.
Varun Tej said that he watched the movie last night.. He doesn’t want Ballaguddi to say that it is a blockbuster.. Tomorrow the audience will watch the movie and say for themselves. He said that he is satisfied that he has made a good film. He thanked director Praveen Sattaru for giving him such a good film.
