Vattenfall energy rate drops below price ceiling: ‘People were not going to sustain high prices for much longer’

Energy company Vattenfall will dive below the price ceiling from April 1 with the electricity rate for about 700,000 customers. The company also announces permanent contracts again. According to Vattenfall director Cindy Kroon, however, the energy market will never be the same again.
