Therefore, this coming November 11, several stores, restaurants and travel companies are coming together to express their gratitude by offering discounts and exclusive benefits.

Restaurant discounts

The chain offers free breakfast until 11 a.m. at participating restaurants, with proof of military service.

Valid only to consume on site.

California Pizza Kitchen

The pizza chain will give a free meal on Nov. 11 for veterans and active members of the military.

The popular pancake restaurant will give veterans and active members of the military free Red, White, & Blueberry pancakes or a free pancake combo on Nov. 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

It will give a 15% discount on November 11 to veterans, active military, and reserve and guard members.

?Food Lion

It will give a 10% discount on purchases made in the store on November 11 for veterans and active members of the military.

?Army Corp of Engineers Recreation Areas

It will waive its day-use fees at its recreation areas nationwide on November 11.
