New Delhi: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has formed new groups called ‘Hita Sinthaks’ (well-wishers) to unite Hindus across the country. About 69 lakh people have been included from all states including Tamil Nadu.
The mother organization of BJP is Rashtriya Swayam Sevak. One of its branches, VHP, had recruited members to run a new camp last November.
Called Hita Sinthaks, they unite Hindus living in all parts of the country, from villages to cities. They want to emphasize the idea that all are Hindus despite the caste and its divisions in the society.
For this, the VHP decided to enroll around 61 lakh members in its new Hita Syntax. But it is known that about 69 lakh people are more members than that. On this, the VHP held a meeting at the Makh Mela held at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It was attended by the administrators of UP’s Awadh and Kashi regions branches. In this, a consultation has been held on strengthening all the sections of VHP including cow protection.
Regarding this, a source of VHP executives told the ‘Hindu Tamil Vektik’ website, ‘There is a need to unite Hindus across the country. The Hita Sinthans groups formed for this purpose will visit the homes of Hindus across the country to highlight the need for unity.
As a result of this, our country can present itself internationally on the same policy. These groups will have VHP members as well as outsiders as members.’ They said.
VHP was launched last August 29, 1964. This organization, which was started for the unity of Hindus, also undertook the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. For this, vigorous pro-VHP protests were held across the country.
The Babri Masjid was also demolished on December 6, 1992, due to the VHP’s karaseva in Ayodhya. Along with this, VHP has been actively working for the victory of its fellow political organization BJP before every Lok Sabha election.
Its fieldwork is not very visible. This time also for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, new groups have been formed on its behalf under the name Hita Syntax.
Its membership numbers more than five lakhs in UP alone. It seems that most of these are well-educated people, doctors, lawyers, celebrities, sportspersons who are part of the daily life of the public.
Through them, their fellow political party BJP also has opportunities to add benefit in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, the VHP is also gathering statistics of Hindus across the country.
