Ahmedabad: Maharashtra player Ruduraj Jaikwad hit 7 sixes in a single over in the quarter-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Vijay Hazare Cup 2022, Uttar Pradesh – Maratha teams clashed today in the quarter final match of the series. The Maharashtra team entered the field first in the competition held in Ahmedabad.
Maharashtra team played well and scored 330 runs at the end of 50 overs. The captain of the team, Ruduraj scored a maximum of 220 runs off 159 balls. In this, Ruduraj set a new record by hitting seven sixes in 49 overs bowled by Uttar Pradesh player Siva (including one noball), i.e. 43 runs in one over. Congratulations are pouring in for Ruduraj who hit 7 sixes in one over. It is noteworthy that Ruduraj is playing in the IPL – for Chennai Super Kings.
