The so-called “Golden Autumn” will come to Moscow on Thursday, October 6, and will last for three days. The rains will stop, and the air temperature will stay around +13…+15 degrees, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.
“In Moscow, the rains stop. Tomorrow will mostly be cloudy. The period that can be called the golden autumn begins. Daytime temperatures rise significantly. On the last day of the working week and on weekends, they will be in the range from +13 to +15 degrees in the afternoon. Partly cloudy with lots of sun. A very good period, in these three days,” he said.
The meteorologist noted that the next drop in temperature in Moscow should be expected on Monday, October 10. The first day of next week will be partly cloudy with a chance of light rain.
Earlier in the day, forecaster Alexander Kolesov reported the first minor flood of the season in St. Petersburg. According to the expert, Atlantic cyclones will affect the weather in the city.
On October 3, the leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, Alexander Sinenkov, said that this week the weather in the center of the European part of Russia can be divided into two segments: the first will fall at the beginning of the week and it promises to be rainy, and the second half of the week will be more comfortable by temperature.
