A man has accused Vistara Airlines of leaving his blind mother alone on a flight. A user named Ayush Kejriwal shared a video on Instagram on September 3. In which he told- On August 31, my mother went from Delhi to Kolkata by Vistara flight.
When the flight landed in Kolkata and people started disembarking, my mother was asked to wait. On this the mother kept waiting peacefully. But even after all the passengers got down, no one came to pick them up.
Ayush told that after a long time when the cleaning of the flight started, a sweeper saw the mother sitting in the flight and informed the authorities about it. After this my mother was taken off the flight. Vistara left my mother alone in the flight for a long time, it is dangerous.
Tagging Vistara, Ayush wrote – Vistara Airlines, how can you put my mother in danger like this? Don’t you take responsibility for disabled passengers, it is your responsibility to help them during the journey.
Vistara apologized, said- safety of passengers is our responsibility
Vistara has apologized to the user in this matter and has also demanded an investigation into the incident. Responding to Ayush’s post, Vistara wrote – Sorry to know about the trouble you faced. Safety of passengers is our responsibility. Please share your ticket details.
On the other hand, social media users are also criticizing this attitude of Vistara. One user wrote – Don’t worry, they don’t respond. Even if they answer, they just call and say sorry. They behave as if nothing has happened. They really don’t care about their passengers.
Another user wrote- Very sad to hear this. Glad you raised this issue. I pray that this doesn’t happen again to your mother or anyone else.
