Portuguese Roy Vittoria, coach of the Egyptian national football team, stressed the importance and strength of the match scheduled for Tuesday against Malawi in the fourth round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Vittoria said in the press conference held on Monday that winning the last match against Malawi does not mean that the opponent is easy, but he will play to win and get the three points.
Vitoria added: The match poses a challenge for us, and as a coach, I always play to win any match and look for goals, but every match has its own nature.
He continued: We have Mohamed Salah, who is a great and wonderful player. I am happy with the group of players in the team and the prevailing spirit among them.
For his part, defender Ahmed Hegazy said that the Pharaohs team always represents all Egyptian clubs, and that the door is always open for all players to have the honor of representing Egypt.
He added: The Egyptian national team is always one family and everyone is at the heart of one man. Our goal is always to win in any match, and all players are ready for the Malawi match and we will do our utmost to win.
He explained that the Egyptian national team needs the masses to return to the stadiums massively, because they are the biggest motivation for the players to achieve victories and championships.
