New Delhi. Elon Musk announced on Friday that voice and video chat would be coming soon to the platform. After announcing several new features on the micro-blogging platform, Musk tweeted, “I hope this platform brings you immense convenience, fast.”
The tech billionaire had earlier this month announced voice and video chat features along with other features like encrypted DMs.
Soon your handle will have voice and video chat with anyone on this platform, so you can talk to people anywhere in the world without giving out your phone number, Musk wrote.
Twitter has now increased the video upload limit on the platform from 60 minutes to two hours for paid users.
Earlier, longer video uploads were only possible through the web, but now users can upload through the iOS app as well, however, the maximum upload quality remains 1080p.
Twitter introduced the long video upload feature last December, and recently added new playback speed controls on the web.
