New Delhi. In the seventh and last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is being held today for a total of 57 Lok Sabha seats in seven states and one union territory. Counting of votes will take place on June 4. In this phase, voting is going on in Bihar, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
With this phase of voting, voting for all the phases of the election which started on 19th April will be completed. In the seventh phase, 11.31 percent voting has been done till 9 am. Voting started at 7 am today. During this time, many big leaders including Lalu Prasad Yadav, Anurag Thakur, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Harbhajan Singh, Mithun Chakraborty cast their votes.

On the other hand, after casting his vote, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, in the last phase of the great festival of democracy, voting is being held on 13 seats of Uttar Pradesh today. For the last more than 2.5 months, in order to fulfill the aspirations of the common man in the country, various parties have put forth their issues before the public as per the expectations of the people. I express my gratitude to the voters for the enthusiasm they have shown despite adverse weather conditions.
PM Narendra Modi posted on Twitter that today is the last phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections… I hope that young and women voters will exercise their franchise in record numbers. Let us together make our democracy more vibrant and participatory.
