Madhya Pradesh. Re-polling is being conducted on Friday at four polling stations of Multai assembly constituency of Betul Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh. Voting here started at seven in the morning and will continue till six in the evening. On the other hand, during re-polling, tremendous enthusiasm is visible among the voters.
Let us tell you that the bus returning after voting on May 7 caught fire after the accident. During this period, EVM machines of four booths were burnt. After which the Election Commission had given instructions to conduct re-polling here. Following the order of the Election Commission, re-polling is being conducted on Friday in four polling stations under Multai assembly constituency – Dudar Raiyat, Rajapur, Kunda Raiyat and Chikhlimal.
There were queues of voters at polling stations since morning. The mock poll process was completed at 5.30 am and voting started at 7 am. In re-polling, indelible ink is being applied on the middle finger of the voters’ left hand. This is because the ink applied during voting on May 7 has not yet been erased.
It is noteworthy that in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting was held on 9 seats of Madhya Pradesh. In which the people of Guna, Bhind, Morena, Bhopal, Gwalior, Vidisha, Sagar, Rajgarh, and Betul sealed the future of the leaders in EVMs. In Betul, Congress candidate Ramu Tekam is facing BJP candidate Durgadas Uike.
