A woman shared a video on TikTok where she says she was told she would be fired from her job because of her expressionless face.. The video, so far, already has more than 1.6 million views on the social network.
The woman, named Poster Cece, told her new boss that her expressionless face has caused people to describe her as miserable working as a waitress at the restaurant.
“Since I was 15 years old, I’ve had multiple jobs and never been fired, so I find this fun. Yesterday, at the end of my shift, my manager said, ‘Hey, I need to talk to you.’ I was like, ‘OMG you’re giving me so much anxiety,'” the girl said in the video.
Poster Cece said the manager told her that her face had an expression that indicated she was miserable at work and that’s why he didn’t think he would be a good fit for the job.
The woman said there wasn’t much she could do to fix the problem, since she couldn’t keep her face making a different expression all the time.
“So I guess I’ll see if I get fired today for having an ugly face at work. It’s just a minimum wage server job, I honestly don’t care if I get fired,” she said.
In another video, Poster Cece said she didn’t get fired in the end. In fact, she was asked to go to the restaurant on her day off because she was understaffed..
Therefore, everything seems to indicate that Poster Cece will keep her job, despite her face.
