Walmart will offer a complete Easter meal and basket for under $100.

Walmart announced to consumers that this Easter you will have food and an Easter basket at the same prices as last year.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported this morning that Inflation added its eighth month of decline, standing at 6% in FebruaryHowever, the prices are still high and affecting the pockets of Americans.
“We know that our customers are managing household budgets more strictly and choosing their purchases. In fact, 65% reported that they expect inflation to have an impact on their Easter celebrationWalmart said in a statement.
And for families to save these days, the retailer is committing to offer a Select Easter food and Easter basket at last year’s price, under $100.
The store chain says it followed the same strategy last year to offer a full basket of holiday meal essentials at the same price as in 2021. Walmart says customers responded very well to that call and will do so again. for this Easter season.
“We know that’s still true for many of our customers, so we’ve decided to do it again, this time for food and the Easter basket. We’re offering both for less than $100 total, so our customers can celebrate Easter without compromise.Walmart said.
“Even with some food costs stabilizing, they remain high overall, especially for Easter essentials like eggs. That’s why we’ve worked hard to offset the higher cost of eggs by lowering the cost of other Easter essentials and offering a full meal at the same price as last year.”
The basket will include everything from popular staples to customer favorites like ham, green beans, cake, garnishes, traditional treats and everything you need to prepare a brunch or dinner.
Walmart notes that prices are already in effect and will apply online and in stores until April 15he.
