It is reported that the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ collected Rs. 28 crore share worldwide on the first day, but on the second day (Friday) it collected only Rs. 5 crore share. So let’s see how the ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ collection is going to be in these festival days. On the other hand, it is reported that the movie ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ also collected Rs. 50 crore gross on the first day. The share is also Rs.28 crores. There is no big difference between ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ and ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ in the first day collection. Almost equal. But, we have to see how the situation of Chiranjeevi’s movie will be today.
In Andhra too, the first day collection is okay for both the movies. In Andhra, ‘Waltheru Veeraya’ collected Rs. 12.44 crore share on the first day, while ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ collected Rs. 12.48 crore share. However, it is said that Chiranjeevi’s movie in Naijam has earned more. All in all, both the films collected competitively on the first day. If we look at the collections of Saturday and Sunday, we cannot make a prediction about the result of these two movies.
Gopichand Malineni directed the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’. On the other hand, ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ was directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby). As both of them directed the films of their favorite heroes, expectations were high among the audience. However, both these films failed to live up to those expectations. While the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ was made as a pure mass entertainer, ‘Waltheru Veeraiya’ was made as an action entertainer with comedy. Shruti Haasan is the heroine in both these movies. However, her role is not given much importance in both the films. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar got a good role in the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’.
