TTD has canceled privileged darshans like VIP break darshans, special darshans for the elderly, disabled and parents of children in view of the heavy rush of devotees on Brahmotsavali days. Along with earned services, darshan tickets of Rs.300/-, darshan tickets have been canceled for donors of Srivani Trust and donors of other trusts. TTD said that only the self-arriving protocol VIPs will have a break view.
Also, 50 percent of rooms in Tirumala have been made available for online booking by devotees. Rest of the rooms are allotted offline to the devotees through various counters in Tirumala. Keeping in view the rush of devotees due to Garuda seva on 1st October, there will be no allotment of rooms online or offline for donors of trusts and cottage donors from 30th September to 2nd October. TTD requested donors to take note of this matter.
Similarly, TTD predicts that there is a possibility of a large number of devotees coming to Tirumala as Brahmotsavali falls in the month of Peratasi which is considered very sacred. As the availability of rooms in Tirumala is limited, TTD is appealing to the devotees to take notice of this and stay in Tirupati. Devotees want to cooperate with them.
