Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo wore the Saudi dress today, Wednesday, to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom, which falls on February 22 of each year.
The Saudi Al-Nasr club player published a video showing his celebration of the founding day, and wrote through his account on “Instagram”, “Happy founding day for Saudi Arabia.”
He also added, “It was a special experience to participate in these celebrations.”
The video showed the international star drinking Saudi coffee, then participating in dancing to popular tunes and performing the Saudi Arda.
In turn, Al-Nasr Club published, through its official account on the “Instagram” website, a video showing the celebrations of the administrative and technical staff and players on the anniversary of the founding day, and wrote: “Three centuries of glory and glory, this is how we celebrated the founding day in Al-Nasr Club.”
Tweeters circulated these clips widely, which sparked great interaction among the Saudis.
And the Saudi club Al-Nasr announced, last January, that it had officially signed a contract with Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo until the summer of 2025, in a deal described as historic.
Today, Wednesday, Shaaban 2, 1444 AH, corresponding to February 22, 2023, Saudi Arabia celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the Saudi state in the middle of the year 1139 AH, corresponding to February of the year 1727 AD, at the hands of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, may God have mercy on him.
The founding day is a national occasion of a festive nature, in which the leadership and people evoke the march of 3 centuries ago, and the events and positions immortalized in history and biography books.
